[Scene From Andromeda "Illusions Of Majesty"]

Dylan: Excuse me, your honor, but the princess won't last five seconds with that guy.

Judge: You have the right to take her place.

Kevin: I do? I mean, I do. Yes, I will.

Judge: Bailiff. [End Clip]

[Applause]

Hosts: Did I mention that I love my job, ok? When tv tough guy Kevin Sorbo isn't busy starring in the number one show in the country, "Andromeda," he loves to do two things,

Hosts: Joy and Meredith.

Hosts: I don't know that I can. He designs his very own line of furniture and jump into the sack and talk with show hosts. Please welcome Kevin Sorbo.

Kevin: Thank you very much.

[Applause]

Kevin: This is tough duty, isn't it? See, honey, this is the way it should be. My wife doesn't buy it.

Hosts: How did you get involved --

Kevin: That's my leg.

Hosts: How did you get involved with designing furniture, because I didn't know you did this.

Kevin: We live in Henderson, Nevada. We didn't like the furniture we found, so we designed our bed and a couple other pieces in the house. Just by weird luck, we met a guy on the plane that designed furniture. He kept bugging me to do this, so we finally did. So my wife and I finally did it. This is our new line out, called Camarge and this is called the Hamptons. Carmage is kind of the kentucky part of France.

Hosts: We should leave the bed now and do some foreplay over here. This is your dresser and mirror, which is lovely.

Kevin: It's made of american oak. They're all made of american oak. It's 70 inches across, so you can put a pillow here and you can sleep up here.

Hosts: It's a great size.

Kevin: And we have felt-line drawers and cedar line down below. They can't pull out the whole way.

Hosts: This is like oakish?

Kevin: American oak. You can get it in a black finish as well or the wood finish.

Hosts: Guys will love this, too, because it's masculine.

Kevin: It's warm and cozy. This is a bachelor's chest. This sells for around $1,299. And this is about $499. This would be like a blanket chest. And also this opens up -- well, it should open up. There we go. See the finish inside there.

Hosts: And how much is this?

Kevin: That is $499. And then we have a chest over here. They're all two inches thick, the top levels.

Hosts: How involved are you making in this?

Kevin: [Missed some here] See the website to tell you where it's located.

Hosts: So this isn't out yet?

Kevin: This is just now high point, North Carolina, is in the middle of their -- it's the biggest furniture convention in the world, and this will be there this week. This isn't out in stores yet.

Kevin: This is called a bachelor's chest.

Kevin: It's about $499.

Hosts: Let's get back in bed. Don't you want to get back in bed?

Kevin: Sure.

Hosts: Tell us about this.

Kevin: My wife and I made our bed in Henderson, and --

Hosts: Does yours have a mirror?

Kevin: We just go to the strip in Vegas to do that. We fill this in with whatever you want to fill in. We have -- what do you call it?

Hosts: I don't know.

Kevin: Material, stuff like that. And then we put curtains on the side and mounted a couple of lamps in here so we can read independently at night.

Hosts: I don't know if mounted is the right word.

Hosts: What other things do you make?

Kevin: We have a number of pieces coming out. We have a china cabinet and that's new in this collection. There's a server for your dining room.

Hosts: Have you always been good with your hands?

Kevin: Yes, I love it. We have trestles, which is something we put behind our couch. And a writing desk where you can write back all your fans.

Hosts: Are you a kid who liked woodworking?

Kevin: Yes, I did. My godfather was an architect, so I was always into drafting. And my wife designed the house. We have a house in Long Island.

Kevin: How nice.

Kevin: She designed the house.

Hosts: And the bedding is yours too?

Kevin: I'll take it with me.

Hosts: We'll take you with us. Beautiful, beautiful stuff. Our thanks to Kevin Sorbo, if you'd like more information about the furniture, log on to our website and be sure to catch "Andromeda" every Saturday. Check your local listings for time. We'll be right back.
